On Monday 22nd May we held a successful free First Aid for Managers Update event. The aim of this half day session was to assist local businesses to understand the changes to first aid legislation over the past 7 years. The event proved very beneficial as many attendees were unaware of the smaller changes that had an effect on how they assessed their first aid needs. They also had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the possible specific needs of their businesses in such areas as planning for catastrophic blood loss and injuries and specialist training for first aiders. The feedback was excellent from all of the managers who attended and we look forward to planning the next event.
