Mental Health First Aid training provides the skills to recognise, support and assist colleagues who may have a mental health condition. Providing employees with this training can help employers to meet their responsibilities to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees and in developing of a positive mental health culture.
We offer the following Ofqual Accredited Mental Health First Aid courses:
- Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health
A half day course where learners gain the knowledge to recognise a suspected mental health condition, the skills to start a conversation and to be able to signpost someone to professional help.
It provides an ideal stepping stone into First Aid for Mental Health
- Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health
This one day course covers the most common mental health conditions in-depth and shows how learners can provide comprehensive guidance and support for a suspected condition, enabling learners to signpost someone to professional help and provide support whilst professional assistance is received.
Upon completion of this course, learners will be considered a First Aider for Mental Health.
- Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health
