Fire safety awareness training provides employees with an understanding of the importance of fire safety within the workplace and what they must do to keep themselves and others safe. Our engaging training covers both fire prevention and actions to take in the event of a fire starting.
Our fire safety awareness training is usually delivered over 3 hours and includes:
- Common causes and potential consequences of workplace fires
- Selection and use of fire extinguishers
- Basic fire safety precautions within a workplace
- Safe evacuation and routes.
If desired, we can include practical use of fire extinguishers in this training, where delegates have the opportunity to operate the types of extinguishers used in your workplace, to familiarise them with the principles of safe extinguisher use. Please note that a suitable area is required for this – e.g. a yard or patch of grass.
Delivering this course in-house at your premises means we can tailor courses to suit your requirements by focusing on specific points you identify, for example specific fire safety precautions within your site or key evacuation procedures.
Delegates who successfully complete the course will receive an HSF Training Ltd Fire Safety Awareness e certificate.
