Level 2 Health & Safety training
This Level 2 health & safety course is suitable for all personnel working in any industry and helps employers meet legal obligations regarding health and safety in the workplace.
This course is designed to provide delegates with an awareness of health and safety and skills which can be applied when they return to their workplace. It can also provide a basic level of health and safety knowledge before undertaking a supervisory or management level qualification such as the Level 3 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace or IOSH Managing Safely.
The course is delivered through a mix of tuition, tutor led discussions and group activities. Our experienced tutors ensure that learners appreciate the practical application of knowledge gained in their own workplaces.
By the end of the Level 2 Award in Health & Safety within the Workplace course, delegates will:
- Have an understanding of roles and responsibilities for health, safety and welfare in the workplace.
- Have an understanding of how risk assessments contribute to health and safety.
- Have an understanding of how to identify and control the risks from common workplace hazards found in a range of workplaces.
- Know the procedures for responding to accidents and incident in the
workplace.
Upon successful completion of the short multi choice assessment marked by the awarding organisation,, delegates will receive a Level 2 Award in Health and Safety within the Workplace e certificate from Highfield Qualifications.
This is usually delivered as an in-house course – we will train your staff within your premises, however for individuals wishing to train or employers with only one or two employees requiring the training, this qualification is also available as an distance learning option or can be taken using an e learning and online exam package, through Qualify at Home.
