Employees who have an understanding of health & safety within the workplace can be a valuable asset to assist the employer in reducing workplace risks. The IOSH working Safely course can provide this understanding.

Designed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the IOSH Working Safely course is designed to provide attendees with an understanding of the requirements for health and safety in a workplace and assist them in co-operating with their employer to improve the organisation’s safety performance. It is suitable for employees working in any industry It can also provide an introduction to health & safety for those wishing to further their knowledge by attending a higher level cour4se such as IOSH Managing Safely.

This course is delivered as an in-house course – either at your premises or alternatively we can host a course for you at our well equipped training rooms in Sunderland, North East England. Please note this is subject to minimum numbers of delegates.

The course will provide delegates with a good understanding of their responsibilities and those placed upon the employer. It also covers a range of common workplace health and safety hazards, providing attendees with the awareness which will enable them to better support their employer in making the workplace a safer place for all.

The course is divided into the following modules:

IOSH working Safely training courses

  • Introducing working safely
  • Defining hazard and risk
  • Identifying common hazards
  • Improving safety performance

The course is assessed by means of a short multi choice test and hazard spotting exercise. Delegates who successfully complete the assessments will receive a Working Safely certificate from IOSH.
