The Level 2 Award in COSHH qualification is designed for those who use substances hazardous to health at work. It introduces candidates to substances, the risks and controls available, and outlines what to expect from a control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) assessment. The qualification will prepare employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in their workplaces.
The Level 2 Award in COSHH course content includes:
- Definition and types of substances hazardous to health in the workplace
- Health effects of hazardous substances and their causes
- COSHH assessments and control options
- Responsibilities imposed by the relevant current legislative regulations
The course ends with a short multi-choice test. Candidates who successfully complete his will receive a Level 2 Award in COSHH certificate from the awarding organisation .
This course is delivered in-house – we will train your staff within your premises on a date and at times that work for you. This training is also available as a distance learning option, with delegates coming to us to sit the accredited exam, or as e learning with the invigilated exam online using Qualify at Home.
